1954 Chris Craft 17, Family bought new in 1955

The boat has only been out of the water for servise twice. Once for a motor rebuild in the 90's and I did again 3 years ago for a new propeler shaft and bearings. Best part our MC trailer fits great. We plan on takeing to some shows. Never been restored all origonal, except seat covers. This pic was taken in the N.Y. Adirondack mountians Fall 08 waiting to come out of the water, the rear flag was not in.

Was my ski boat to as a child, max speed about 34. Enough power to pull 6 to 8 at once I've seen it. We have pictures of my dad being pulled over a ski jump by the boat in the 60's. Now that's history, dad may be gone but his toys will live forever!

Seems like I saw a HummerŪ in here once around the garage thread.

here's mine: 1993 K-2500 Suburban
nothing fancy, HD 3/4 ton, 350, 4L80E, 4.11 positrac

it could pull an elephant's teeth out through it's butt!!!!

the reason it's not fancy??? = it's paid for

got a later model K-1500 Suburban for the family rig.

when we go to the lake, it's a toss up for which one pulls the 30' travel trailer

That is exactly what I am looking at getting myself. But the Dodge is quite a bit cheaper, and it doesn't use Urea. So it looks like I have a bit of a dillema on my hands.
