Unfortunately they are to tall for where I store the boat. I need about six inches. I have to remove the guides every time. I see no reason not to cut them off six inches shorter, I just haven't done it.

Yeah, they are really tall. I guess unless you have a real steep ramp, there is not much need for them.

1966 Ford F-100 Custom Cab, 352 V-8, C-4 Auto ("Lucille"). Two tows / yr, 200 yards to the ramp each time. Drop her in in Spring, Yank her out in Fall.
I really need a pic of them together. Maybe next month when I pull "Crackerjack" out for the winter...

Finally took a photo of the new tow rig. Yukon Denalli with all the toys. The backup camera is sweet for hooking up the boat. Back it into position, get out and lower it down. The boat has some red trim that doesn't show well in the pictures but matches the Denalli. Has the 6.2 liter and on the first tank I reset the average fuel gage reading on the highway at 67 mph and it was getting 21.7 over several miles. Even off the highway it was still getting over 20 for a while. The 04 with the 5.3 would never go above 18 on the highway. Both those numbers are without the boat. I bought the Denalli on a Tuesday. The third photo was the vehicle I bought on that Monday. It was a good week.
