Glad I added a transmission cooler. I think my tranny got replaced at 31K miles before it was my truck. Hope I never have such problems.

I go about 5 five round trip to my normal lake, every once and awhile i go about 40 miles to a like thats more in the mountains.

Those Toyota And Nissan Trucks are supposed to be about bullet proof, from what I’ve heard. I looked at a Nissan 4 door the other day. It was cool as hell. Expensive but cool

Nothing against Fords, I did after all, buy a new Ford van for the business, but I have over 100,000 miles on the Chevy with absolutely no problems. I pull the boat 200 miles each way to Cumberland, every week-end, at speeds between 70-85 MPH, with out so much as a hick-up!

Ric - My Tahoe has the 3.73 and I would guess dry weight would be similar. However there may be other things to consider w/ weight; wheelbase, 3rd row seats, DVD player. I just know it's my wife daily driver and she loves it. I drive it for the most part when the boats hooked up, can't wait until spring as I'm buried in 14" of snow. :

I love seeing the Discos on the board. I just picked this up last week. Full-time 4x4, 4.7 270hp 330lb-ft! It's like it has short-man's syndrome for wanting to be bigger than it is. But, being small gives it sub 8 sec 0-60 and 7,000lb tow rating. I cannot wait for it to stop raining here so I can take my boat out for a pull. My wife thinks I'm nuts for wanting to get the boat out just to go for a drive.

Now I'm trying to decide, 12" or 18" window decal...
or there's always the special order chrome...

It's a 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Are Toyotas a rare in Canada?
