anyone use the Kensington laptop lock?

got a buddy wanting a laptop at his pizza store, but he's afraid of it walking off during times when he's not there....

aside from a locked file cabinet or taking it home, what are his alternatives?

looking at the Kensington lock system....
doesn't seem to secure

Depends on what you lock it to, i.e. flimsy desk, etc. I don't bother locking mine at work, it'd be a co-worker that would steal it and I would smack them in the mouth.

I think they make some kind of lo-jack for computers... I'd rather have that.
