When we built our house, I added 4 feet to the garage depth to fit my '84 Nautique - that didn't have a swivel tongue on the trailer. Now that we have the '02 209 with a swivel tongue it fits on the 3rd stall with the platform off. The only problem is that I did not consider the width of any trailer when I built - only conselation is that I was already as wide as I could go considering the lot lines. Now I have to back inthe boat through the double garage and then "play" it back and foerth to get it into the third stall. During the summer I just park it in the 2nd & 3rd stall and leave one vehicle outside. Works great - except for having to lower the tower every time - but it beats the heck out of not having a boat!

How wide does the garage have to be in order to get the boat in? I am curious as to whether or not a boat would even fit in our garage.

Mine is 9' wide and that's about all the closer I want it. You could probably get away with 8'6" - but then that wouldn't be a standard door.

9x7 is my opening for my PS190 with no tower. That's as small as I would want to go.

you really need the seller to tell you the measurement for that. Trailers vary in width a bit from mfg I think

All this talk of garages has me jealous... Here's my garage. I have about 2" to spare between the neighbor's fence and my porch to back through. And then I have to schlep all my gear into the basement. I can't wait to have a real garage!

with all that snow, looks like you have an igloo for at least part of the year! Does that count as a garage?

Got 89 Tristar in my garage last night so I can work on the restoration. I had to do a little Deconstruction. I was 2 inches shy of closing the door so out somes the recipricating saw and away with the sheetrock, much to the dismay of the wife. I will post some pics when I find that camera.
