Prop size

I have an 1983 stars and stripes powerslot 1:1 and a 351 ford w
The prop on it right now is a 14L 18h and has a small nick in it
I have an 14 16 LH in a box if I change the prop what will happen to my profermance? PLEASE HELP!!!

ICBW But with that cupping it should give you a better hole shot and probably lose a little on the top end. But then again I could be getting it backwards. If your boat has the powerslot it would be a 1:1.5 gear reduction ratio.

I believe the 14 x 16 will give you less speed and more power.

It will over rev, be careful if you do it.

Go get your 14 x 18 prop fixed and put it back on.

if I just trick ski and wakeboard would the 14 16 be a better fit for me

My opinon is no, the boat already has way more power then you will need. As I said, it will over rev too easily if the driver isnt paying attention.

Need help can not get my prop back from the shop for 3 weeks, will I hurt my motter if I put the 14 16 on the boat

You could OVER REV it Keep it under 4200 PRM
