Prop Selection PS 190?

Considering upgrading the prop this year. I believe the Acme 541 is the prop of choice for my boat. I have a couple questions though and haven't seen any specific discussions on this since East Tx Skiier's prop comparison a couple yaers ago.
First, the boat runs and pulls fine. I wakeboard mostly and free ski some too. How much holeshot and top end difference can I expect?
Secondly, I use the boat quite a bit now at lakes in the 5000'-7000' elev range. Considering a 543 prop as I can notice a good difference in holeshot and top end speed at these elevations. Can still pull 3 people up with ease, but doesn't have the snort like at low altitude.
I don't run any ballast in the boat, other than loaded full of people sometimes.

I went from a stock 13X13 to an Acme 541 on my 205 last and have never regreted it.

I think you actually get a faster, smoother hole shot and I gained 1 or 2 mph at the top end.

I went from an OJ 3 blade stock 13x13 to an OJ 4 blade 13x13. For skiing much better but lost some top end. Then I purchased the 541 and wow! Hole, less bump, pulls like a four but no loss on top end.

My opinion!

Thrall - I have the same boat you do and went with the Acme prop. Awesome choice. It's simply a more eficient prop than the stock one. I expierenced a better hole shot and a little bump in top end (not much). The mid-wake bump did get smoother. One of the biggest differences for me was just how smooth it ran - a noticeible difference as its CNC manufactured to have perfect balance.

Lost no top end b/w the OJ 13x13 and the Acme 541 on my boat. As mentioned above, hole shot and rooster tail size improved.

Still beatin' a not quite dead horse here.
Talked to Bill at Acme and came away thinking that the #543 prop (1/2" less pitch) may be better than the 541 for my app.
He said the 543 would lose only 1mph topend compared to the 541 and may run up about 200 rpms at low level (I don't sack the boat out heavy, maybe 800# total passengers included).
Does anyone have any experience w/ the 543 prop, or the 541 at higher altitude (4000 to 7000 ft)??

G-Man ran one on his 93 due to his short setup for the course. Said watch out that you don't over rev it.
