01 Prostar 195 Mystery Piece

I recently purchased a 2001 Prostar 195 and upon lifting the sundeck I found this piece taped to the carpet. Any ideas what it is for???

I sent you an email. I think it is the piece that goes into the trailer so your brakes do not get activated when backing up a hill. Not sure what the technical term for the thing is... Usually it is attached via a piece of string/rope to the area close to where it goes into the trailer.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
