anyone want to comment on the difference between the starbrite premium teak oil, teak oil and teak sealer? They are all 3 products offered by starbrite. The "sealer" says its a 1 coat once per year deal. And how do you explain the time it takes to make your teak look good to your wife? Mine thinks I'm crazy and I'm just on the 400 grit layer.

I use this, as I believe most people here do as well.

I used this to do mine with. It is for marine teak and only $10.00 a pint at HD.

Finally finished. My wife caught me putting a layer of wax on after all the coats of oil and blurted out, "You have to be kidding." I think I am going to bring the platform indoors and hang it on a wall-lol. I did learn a valuable lesson, don't ski without a ladder or platform in a drysuitsuit-I had to get dragged to shore to get back in the boat.
thanks for the teak refinishing input. used the instructions all the way to the 2000 grit. Used the Watco oil for 2 coats in between cuz I ran out of Starbrite until I got some more. Anyway. Hope it lasts.
