Here it is today after an hour with the belt sander, random orbital and finally the router to clean up the edges. So far I have got one coat of oil and have been chasing the afternoon sun trying to get it to dry.

Bottom holes have been plugged and the handles have been "customized" to allow for you to actually grab the platform with them.

BTW, it looks great!
Someone on Betsy's lake has is a TT member and wanted a Fiberglass platform, rather than the teak the boat was shipped with. So, the member's dealer gave him a new fiberglass platform and I bought his old teak one for $100. It is the best $100 I have spent, because I can now be a part of this thread.

Sodar!! That turned out amazing!! We are impressed. My boat will be ill come April, cough cough, you will have to bring yours up so we can test the teak and the ride

You've always been part of this thread and if you ever feel left out again, just mozzy on over to the TT Old Folks Home and you can play some Shuffleboard and Bingo with us, cause they give us these cute little M&M's in them ittsy bitty cups to keep us quiet so we won't be ugly to each other!
