I don't know about anybody else, but I sand mine with 400 grit sand paper if the wood isn't smooth to the touch before I start. Then apply a couple of coats and let it soak. I have only sanded it one time, I wouldn't do it all the time. I use meguiars #46 teak oil.

I use this aswell on my X-9, no complaints here

Thanks but I don't want to spend that much money for what a rag and some cleaner could do. Maybe some other time, but for now......

Worth every penny to me. We trailer a lot and it's much easier to take them off and throw them in the washer instead of cleaning with a rag, then cleaning the bugs off your vinyl.....

Here is a custom, fabricated platform for a 75 MC S&S. Ordered from Flounder Pounder Marine in Cape Canaveral, the day of a shuttle launch. Shaped and cut to fit with stainless bolts from the inside out, make it fully detachable. One of the best additions, in a long time, to our sweet ride.

Well figured I would join in on the fun as I just redid mine. I chose to go a different route as ours just gets abused. I went with Sikkens and added the non slip silica grip to it so it has some traction as well. (why it looks gritty in the pic. VEry fine stuff so it doesn't scuff the boards but it gives you a sure foot on the wet platform. They have a new color called "natural teak" And I will be damned it looks natural to me.

post one at a time... or you need to do something with photobucket to get multiple pics per post... check the FAQ section it's in there somewhere.

After you browse and upload into manage attachments, got to paperclip above your post in the same block as bold, font color, and click on the paperclip and it will show all the picture links you uploaded, click on "Insert All" and they will all show w/o the link.
