Mine comes from my old show skiing days. I was skiing in a show with a bunch of Austrailian skiers in Canada. Whenever we would travel they would always ask me how this or that compared to Texas. Not trying to be funny, my response usually was something like.."well it's a lot alike but it's just bigger back home in Texas." They always thought that I was trying to be funny and started saying "Everything is Bigger in Texas" to poke fun at me. It eventually got shortened to them calling me Tex or Texas. Pro show skiing is a very small world and the name and reputation carried over as my career moved from place to place. Not a bad thing I guess.

Mine's simple. My dad was a pilot in the Navy during Korea (F4U-5 Corsair). After I earned my private license, I started using the email address pilot02@(....on many email providers since then..)

 First name Sue and then my last name initials. With a Dutch last name you frequently have 2 initials.
