Trailer rim size help and prop removal help

I have a 98 30th Anniv prostar 190 and am going to buy an extra rim for the trailer. Does anyone know if it is a 5 x 4.5 or 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern on the factory rims? I can't seem to measure it right.

Also,

I am going to take the prop off and get it fixed.....do I need a special tool to do it, and if so, any idea where I can get one/cost?

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Hi Jeff. As to the last question, you'll need a prop puller and a big wrench. In a traditional puller, get one for a four blade as they'll do either 3 or 4 blade props. But a 3 blade won't do a four. Ski dim has them for probably around $70. Acme sells a harmonic prop puller (screws on and you whack it with a hammer) that's about $30 bucks.

I think the rims are the 4.5". I started a thread a while back about this. Give it a search. The rims on my 93 should be the same as for 98.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Thanks guys!

Again all my questions are answered.

Does anyone need a get-out-of-jail-free card?
