I'm thinking about adding these to my 06' X2. For those who have them, are you happy with just the two or would you add additional lights for better illumination?

Yup, they aren't cheap but if I do it I want to be satisfied. I would hate to spend the cash and be dissappointed.

I've shopped both. The Ocean LED's are definetly the better of the two, but the Abyss are more of a bargain.

I too think the Ocean LED's are a better product, but there is no need. Ocean LED's are made for high dollar boats. I hate to break it to all of us, but ours are not! The Ocean LED's are made for boats that sit in a salt environment 360+ days per year.

The Abysslite is MORE than suitable for our application. Plus, the Ocean lights come in a bronze finish, because it is more conducive to a marine environment. I like the Abysslite for the stainless ring... it looks better for the 320+ days per year my boat sits on the trailer!

More is always better! My personal opinion is that 2 look great and the cost is a little easier to swallow.
