'03 Heritage Classic. Windshield, pillion, sissy bar and luggage rack are quick-detachable.




This Suzuki thumper (DR650SE) is a great dual-sport compromise bike, but is designed 80/20 road vs. dirt. I changed the suspension, tires, forks, gearing, as well as rebuilding the carb and replacing the pipe, makes it 80/20 dirt vs road.

My son is a bigger motorhead than I am. His refurbed and modified 93 Dyna..




He races this bored-out quad




His other bike, the Honda 50 - it's bored out, re-suspended etc. The kid is 6' 5"...it's a hoot to watch him ride it.

I grew up in a no motorcycle family since my grandfather dumped one when he was young. My grandmother set the tone from there. My wife is of the same fear mentatlity. So the closest I will ever see to a chopper:
