Talking Unanswered posts form old site.

Hey anyone who posted me a question on the old site I was gone for two weeks and when I got back I had over 1500 emails. Most were from the old site. I finally gave up when I realized I couldn't post an answer and deleted them. JimN I think you posted a question about my '38 Arch Top and no it is not an L5 or anything like that it is a Gibson House Brand called a Cromwell (my last Name). There is no binding on the neck sides but has a piece of binding down the center of the fretboard. It was featured one month on the cover of the old Vintage Guitar Magazine when they were still all newsprint sometime in '92 or '93 maybe even '94.

Welcome back, Lee. I got an email this morning from a guy asking a bunch of questions about the "Texas Toothpick." He apparently googled it and came across a thread where you and I were talking about it. He even sent me a picture of him holding one.

He wanted to know who made them. I emailed my father-in-law, who didn't know the answer, but remembered riding one in 1960. You got any thoughts on this?

Good to have you back.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

You didn't send me the picture, the guy who emailed me did. I just didn't have a clue how to answer any of his questions. I didn't save the picture, so we may be out of luck. Welcome back!

I know. Took me a while to pick out an old thread that was left open-ended...thus the "bump" and no dialog....
