Snap the asp and put in a freezer bag. Pour in some fun Italian type dressing and let set for awhile. Put the grill on high and toss the drained asp on the grill in a basket. Cook for a couple of minutes and shake the basket a couple of times as you go. Some people like their's really crispy. I like mine not so crispy. I sprinkle lemon pepper on them as they cook.

Last night was homemade baked potato soup with beer bread and a glass of milk. It is getting cold here so it's soup weather.

Shot a feral pig (50lb± sow) -Yesterday AM - Sliced the backstraps about 1"+, dipped in flour + seasoning, brazed in a skillet, then mixed up brown gravy around them, simmered for about 1 hr in the gravy.... Sounds good! I just had a bowl of that leftover chili and graduated to 1/2 habanero and a dab of the hab sauce to boot!
