In the second pix,you're leading with your shoulders instead of your hips.
You're also crossing on a flat ski,should be on edge.
I know that your wake is smaller at 35 mph but if you're not at that level yet,not sure you're helping yourself...
Stiif legs will also amplified the "getting some air at the wake" problems.Keep them strong BUT flexible!
Skiing from the tower is not the best but i can see that your anchor light is on.

Sutton Lake, WV great evening did not even see another boat for about an hour or two with glass like this!
