Bakersfield or LA Slalom Course

going to be in/around Bakersfield & LA the week of 10/09 through 10/13 and looking to ski the course, any options???

betsy and skipete ,both have houses at bakersfield ski lakes. .. otherwise drive 5 hours north and ski up here..

5hrs north is a long drive, especially since i'll be as far south as temecula at some point...

hmmmm, betsy and skipete need a driver for a couple day slalom session???want some pros to ski practice sessions at your site???

If you need to drive to Temecula, you have two options down here... if you can find anyone on Canyon Lake, there is a course there as well as a course through the Local MC dealership on Lake Elsinore. Up near Bakersfield, you can always go up to Lake Nacimiento, where there is a public course, that is about 2 hours from Bakerfield

There are a lot of places, just not in the IMMEDIATE area. Pretty much any lake that is worth skiing on is 2 hours away from downtown LA.

hard to believe any decent place is 2hrs away, OUCH!!!this late in season not sure worth risking damage to my stik?!?
