I checked it out yesterday. Not too much activity yet. I posted something for good measure thanking them for giving me the shaft (for the boat) at a reasonable price, but more importantly, within a couple of days. The MC dealer actually had a better price, but was going to take nearly 2 weeks to get it to me. Since it wasn't my boat, I had to tell them that I would need to go somewhere else.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

The shaft...

I stopped mid sentence when you said "thanks for the shaft"... I thought you meant they screwed you or something, then I continued the sentence.

That's what I get for skimming through too fast!

If there's anything I'm not going to do, it's bad-mouth skidim. Those guys are lifesavers, and as helpful on the phone as I could ever hope.

I agree with that, “helpful on the phone”

They sure know what they are talking about and come through in a pinch.

I 3rd that, they can give you the right part right over the phone. Not sure about "taking the shaft!" Doug, that's twice in a day.
