Prop Question xstar, X2, X1

Anyone running an ACME #537 or #1235 prop?

#537, 13.5 x 16 (.105c) 4 BLD

#1235, 14.5 x 14.25 (.105c) 4 BLD

Any recommendations for one over the other? I have an 02 xstar with the 330 engine.

Does anyone know what prop came stock on the boat? It currently has a 14 x 18 OJ.

Thanks,
Pete

What are you looking for the boat/prop to do? Do you need alot of extra low end torque out of the prop because the boat is weighted down with extra ballast? Are you not holding a speed with ballast easily, see if you can give us alittle more info on what your going to be using the boat for, and then it will be much easier to say which props you should try.

Mostly wakeboarding. Stock ballast and average 5 people.

Just got the boat, but the prop is missing a small chunk so I am looking at options to replace.

Depending on how bad the stock prop is, you may be able to have it rebuilt for much cheaper than a new prop.

$425-$475 for an Acme depending on prop.

Here is one more option that looks closer to stock.

#381, 13.5 x 17.5 (.105c) 4 BLD, 1-1\8" Bore, LH
