Mooring Covers

When did the newer style, nylon ratchet- secured covers become available for the newer boats? Was it 03 or 04?I like these much more than the fabric/canvas covers and want one . Seeing some good internet deals. Took on some serious H20 under the lift canopy from Ernesto. I have an 04 197 with mini tower fwiw.

2003 X-7's have the ratchet style cover, so there should definetly be one available for your boat.

If you've never reapplied water and uv protection to your sunbrella cover, you might want to give that a try before you scrap it. I reapply 303 fabric guard to mine every 3 years or so.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
