Found a product!

I was informed about this product today, by a customer who restores cars. It's POR-15 and the website is www.por15.com.
They have every imaginable product for coating about anything especially rusted metal and metals subject to rust. They have a Clear Coat product for Chrome, Highly Polished Aluminum, etc., called Glisten PC and also engine primers and coatings. CHECK IT OUT!

We have used it for sandblasted frames, undercarriages, trailers, and misc. equipment.
Supposedly the stuff was designed originally for Bridges.
If you follow the instructions its pretty good stuff. Acid wash first, then apply.
It also has no UV protection, so the paint needs to be "covered" with something if its going to so the light of day.
