Weird Fin

I was looking on ebay for a project boat and I saw this 89 prostar, with this weird looking fin underneath the platform. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is? It looks like it has a speedo line going to it, if it is a speedo why only one? I am just curious.

Yes that is the speedo cable. The angle of the picture is blocking the view of the other one...

So you think that the fin looking thing is one pitot and the thing you pointed out is another? I guess that is just a goofy looking pick-up, it looks nothing like mine.

Those pitots look just like the ones on my 87 (same boat that is pictured--black).

Yeah, that's what they look like on my '96 ProStar.

The original photo looked strange to me at first......It is taken at an angle where the pick-up lines up with the rudder and they look like a single piece. If you look close, you can see the normal pick-up and the rudder behind it.
