Mooring Cover

i have an 06 X-10 and i was wondering if someone could explain to me the proper way to put the cover on, it has 2 poles and a long strap that goes from ski pylon to bow grab rails, the problem im running into is that the 2 poles are of diffrent lengths, if i use the short one at the back and the long one at the front (but left collapsed) everything fits nicely but in a heavy rain the cover collects water just infront of the rear seat. if i put the short one in the front (extended) and the large one in the rear then the cover is taught and no water collects but the cover dosent extend down far enough to go over the rubrail, and then it slowly starts to slide up, and if i put the cleats through the holse in the cover it pulls really tight and makes it tough to get off...

any tips, sugestions or instructions would be greatly appreaciated

thanks
Blair

PS sorry for the long winded post

Get some PVC pipe, and make some supports for the cover.....that is about the only way to keep the water from pooling up on the new covers.
