Being an owner and operator of 7 gas stations, those first two we see on a daily basis. We've actually had customers run right over gas pumps. This is the result of what can happen when your not careful at the pump.

My buddy and I were headed to Fort Lauderdale one year and I switched him in Columbia, SC at a gas station, climbed in the back to sleep, and the next thing we hear is the hose dragging along behind us.

I've been in the car with someone who has driven off from the pump with the nozzle and a few feet of hose trailing. Breakaway hoses are a good thing. Pay-at-the-pump makes this less of a problem, too.

It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball. |

Being a "salesman" I see these women and ALL of their sisters DAILY on the road... It is truly scary that they even make it one day on the road.. Of course they probably have caused many, many wrecks and accidents and just keep on driving.....
The "lady" cop ( I bet she needs a "dna" check) stopped and asked how to get to 255.. I told her "weightwatchers"....... |
