Cylinder for the storage area '91 PS190

The cylinder that holds the back seat cushion up on the observer's seat is starting to give on my boat. Where can I get a fairly reasonably priced replacement?

It may not be reasonably priced but your dealer should be able to get you one.

The strut has a name and part number on it...I think SPF hadware or something. Anyway...they have a website and sell the exact fit for around $25 a piece. I bought two for the engine hatch last year.

Cody, none of my local auto parts stores had the right one when I replaced mine last year. I bought it from my MC dealer for around $12.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
