To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Looks like a great place to set up a ski school or ski resort. "The Great Smoky Mountain Waterski Resort." Each bedroom having private bath helps.

Does the water level appear low? I wonder where the lake water comes from?

Ok Nothing original to MC here but this would be a sweet site. Price tag is a little high... ETS is your checkbook in the red yet?

Man, I need to win the lottery. That would be so cool. A racquetball court even! The price actually seems reasonable compared to some stuff around here.

The lake appears to be a bit on the short side. Looks to be around 1700-1800 ft. long.
Also there dosnt appear to be any nearby streams, looks like the water comes from a well?

This is Rob [started MasterCraft] and Flo Shirleys house that is behind the original factory site. It is a 4 bouy course, with a MC jump ramp, was the lake they used to test the boats on as they came off the assembly line and used by Rob/team skiers to evaluate new prototype designs and new models. Rob and Flo divorced during the late '80's and she is now selling the property she got in the settlement of the divorce after Rob sold Mastercraft to Coleman and moved to the Cayman Islands to build "Dive Boats". The 'Barn" on the property is the barn Rob built his first Mastercraft [serial no.1, MC now owns] in and it was his Parents and Grandparents farm property. IIRC it is a spring fed lake! Water has always been a pastel green for some reason, never saw it clear. The property is beautiful, but is right next to the old factory site, which is leased now to misc. businesses that operate out of the various buildings in the old complex.
