If it is the fuel pump. Go to fuel pump 101 there is a great how to on there with orielly parts and about a 2 hours job and around a $100.00. the only thing you get with a new pump is it now has a back up pump. I have been thinking about the backup pump allot lol.

So the 8.1 has two fuel pumps? I know there's one in the tank, where is this one located? Not having issues yet, but with 870 hours, might be worth some preventative maintenance.

The new pump the dealer sells now has 2 pumps in it. The original only has one. I figured if mine lasted 10 years I donít need a second one.
