Toggle Switches are my Liberty! Was looking to buy a later model rig and researched the "out of warranty" costs and self repair/diagnostic limitations associated with these touch screen control systems........I'm out until I can afford to stay in warranty. They're really *****en until they're not.

Where can the latest software updates be found for '13 x25? If this is posted, I must have missed it. Please direct me to that thread if so.

It is not posted here that I am aware of. Must be obtained from your local dealer.

My '16 X30 screen was doing the same thing... dealer called it ghost changes and said maybe something was tightened too tight, screen was then changed under warranty at 20 hr service. New screen didn't have same setting options & profiles so I thought software had been updated, then screen began locking up and also went back to not interfacing correctly w/other systems (tabs retracting but profile active, etc)... turns out the new screen had 4 yr old software so it was reflashed at 35 hours when fuel pump & coil failed and were replaced under warranty. Only had one occurrence of screen locking up since, now at 70 hours after 1 calendar year of use.

This just started happening to my 2015 x30. Last time i was out the screen was not responding to any touches and i just cycled the battery and everything was ok. Today i went out and everything seemed ok, but it then started having ghost changes. When my wife would shift into gear, the screen switched and the profile went into Ski mode with the speed set to 30+! Once it even happened during one of the surfing runs, it kept the right speed, but the tab retracted and washed out the wake.

Looks like a new screen is in order. Good thing it is under warranty.

Well the dealer wanted to first try upgrading the firmware, perhaps this is standard operating procedure. .They tried that last week and I took the boat out over the weekend, but still had problems. They are going to install a new screen.

Iím having the Ghost Changes happening right now on my 2013 X30 with less than 300 hours.
I was having touch screen issues for a while but only from a tactile response and I just over looked it. Now this thing is doing the same thing others have posted. We can be driving down the lake and it goes from Go Home mode to Surf and actually slows the boat down to 10.6 MPH.
Now we have a $100k row boat. And I know itís out of warranty since it was the year before MasterCraft decided to go to 5 Year warranties but this is a major safety hazard. Someone mentioned Mastercraft was aware of a specific set of HW that was affected.

Oh yea and BTW, my local dealer sent in a request to see if they would fix the issue and it was denied. Now the biggest issue I have is they want like 6K to replace a computer that is the central hub for running the boat. Arrrrg.

While I have a 2018 boat I do spend a lot of time on a 2014 X30 and experienced some of the same issues. We found out that cleaning and tightening the grounds helped as well as leaving the screen in the gauges page once the profile and settings were set. Doing this seems to have prevented any issues.
