Dog loading devices

Our border collie loves the water but has a tough time getting onto the swim deck on our 87 PS 190. are there any other products or devices other than the $400 doggie docks that anyone is using to help dogs get back on a swim deck? Dash thanks anyone who can help him out!

Set it so it angles down enough that Dash can get his front paws on it and pull himself up? Cover it with carpet and put some pool noodle under the water end for buoyancy.
