Hello all. Iíve been lurking around. Figured Iíd start a ďrefurbĒ thread.

I purchased this jewel for a decent price and had full intentions on running the crap out of it this summer and either selling it or refurbishing it.
The carpet had a stench that would knock a grown man to his knees. Had to go... annnnnd thatís how this happened unfortunately I never took any pics of the boat with the carpet in it. It was beige (at some point in its life).

Cool, i can leave it alone for the summer and ride it.... wrong. Floor was HOTTTT. No thanks.
Oh I have an idea... Iíll put some white gel coat on it!

I have to remove the side rails at least...ehh letís take it all out.
BUT WAIT Iíll save the upholstery and just put it back in the boat for the season.... wrong! The wood is basically dirt. (Which is why the can of worms saying is not funny)

Sooo this is where Iím at today

And my plan going forward

I have new switches

I have new audio gear
8- 6.5Ē JL components and 2-10Ē JL subs on the way

I have new bilge fans (it didnít have one when I got it )

I have a GPS speedometer
New depth finder with water temp
New radio.
Windshield frame is off and getting powder coated back black

I have dropped it off to get reupholstered

Although Iím taking the hull back while they do the panels and seats to get it painted.
Will be going with a similar blue but one with more pearl in it to match the vinyl colors that we chose

Few surprises coming with some custom items Iím making (hint engine cover vent) as well as some others that I will wait on

Anyway, stay tuned if interested thanks for all the advice that I never chimed in on when I didnít have an account.
