Foggy, do a Boston Butt for your first overnight cook. Almost impossible to mess it up and will give you tons of BBQ. Congrats, you will love it! Also, www.nakedwhiz.com is another great site. Finally, google "pig shots." They are a game changer for an app on the BGE.

Yellow mustard on these. It really helps the rub stick to the meat - I brush it out before adding the rub. Some think it's weird, but you can't taste the mustard after they're done. After about 4 hours on the smoker, they were great.

Thanks! Boston butt is exactly where I was headed. I appreciate all of the tips from everyone and the Pig Shots look amazing!

Here's last night's pizza. We thought it was awesome. The crust turned out perfect, and it was a rather tall pizza with tons of thick sliced toppings and about a pound of cheese.. The whole thing cooked in about 10 minutes at 600F and it was better than any pizza that I've had in a restaurant.

Excited to try more things.

^ looks tasty! What did you do for your dough? Find a recipe somewhere? Crust is everything in a pie, followed by a good sauce...

Okay...so you'll laugh, but I got the crusts at Publix bakery and they were awesome. Putting cornmeal on the top of the pizza stone made them easy to work with too, and it added a little touch of additional browning to the crust.

A little closer! I'm going to put the same brick tile on the upper part to hopefully resemble a chimney.
