shower install wire

Guys does anyone know exactly where the shower wire might terminate. I see the wire coming from the dash its orange/red. Cannot find it anywhere in the back of the boat.

I have an X45 but would assume its probally close to the same area for Xstar, X30 ect.

Umm, are you adding a shower to your boat that does not have a shower yet? If that's the case, there is a shower switch already installed on the dash from the factory with wires that are tucked-up under the dash marked "shower". You would have to connect those wires to your own wires and run them back to your new pump.

Sorry I guess I asked the question wrong. Yes I have a shower switch, and I want to install a heatercraft shower in the back of the boat. I see the wires coming from behind the switch but they run into the harness and I just assumed they maybe ran toward the back of the boat and terminated somewhere close to where the factory would normally mount the pump. I understand how to wire to the pump and plumb into the water system. I just thought maybe someone who had done a diy install might chime in and help.

Not sure where your wires run to, but on my '05 X-star they were just coiled-up under the dash waiting for me to attach my wires to. Can you follow the wires along the drivers side and see where they go to? I had to remove (loosen) my panel that surronds the thottle to run mine.

Get ahold of your dealer tomorrow and ask them for the install diagram. There is a 3 page tech/install for the transom shower that will help big time !! If no luck email me your fax number and I will send one to you !
