I have had to upgrade a bit for awhile. Still waiting on getting mine back. The tow with this to LOTO was a breeze. LV-LOTO in 19 hours straight run. Only 3 stops. 80 gal fuel cell in back. Set the cruise at 5 mph over limit never looked back.

Hoping to get mine back next week after lady turned left in front of me as I was traveling about 35mph. Couldn't believe it. 21 years with hardly a door ding in this.

Somehow I handle seeing a new car smashed up better than a well cared for classic....

They wanted to total it but told them their offer was 1/2 of what i wanted. They decide they would fix it. Did a search around the country and showed them some 97's for sale in less than this ones condition they actually agreed to fix it after that.

Very clean! Even though I'm a Chevy guy, I can certainly appreciate a nice looking truck. I was at Discount Tire a few months ago, some lady/rancher drove up in your truck too. Really amazing condition, interior looked new, diesel. She said she loves the truck and only 30k on it. I asked is she wanted to sell and she said NO! So nice!

how much did it cost to do this, and are you expecting to have to upgrade the trans or anything else to handle it long-term?

The BOV are running 295$ for a set, the wastegates were 255$, both from turbosmart on EBay, and the programmer was 349$ on eBay also.

I wanted to take them off anyways to see if they had any tears in the rubber flaps and this was way better than any plastic stuff they had on from the factory.

The trans on that truck is rated for 500 hp anything over that and you might have a problem. Thatís from a person who knows these engines and transmissions extremely well. I have no other mods besides a drop in K&N filter and tighter gaped plugs.

Iíve only been driving around for a few days on this and man! she rips now. I canít believe the power she puts down now. Mind you im running premium gas with a premium gas tune. I will be going down to regular fuel soon
