Sunscreen

I hate it but since i've had a couple basal cell carcinomas removed it has become a must. Wife bought a bunch of neutragena from Costco but that stuff immediately starts running as soon as it gets wet so that won't work. What is your favorite for brand for the lake?

Whatever the wife hands me. Sorry, I know this doesn't really help.

Blue lizard used sparingly, or you never get it rubbed in. Get a HUK fishing ICON shirt. You will love it.

If I'm gonna be out for a long day I wear long sleeve shirts and big bucket hats instead of messing with sunscreen. Now if only I could convince my crew to do the same clean up would be a lot easier.

I started doing this after speaking with a neighbor at our marina, who does the same thing recommended it to me. He started doing out of a similar situation you are in.

Consumer Reports (my bible) rates Walmart-brand Sport SPF 50 at #2; clearly the best deal out there. There's no need to spend more $$$, although you can.

Any sunscreen will need to be re-applied after getting wet.

Barrier protection (long sleeves, big hats) should never be overlooked.
