Tahoe front differential

The oil changing place I go to keeps nagging me that I need to replace the lube in the front differential of my Tahoe, I didn't know if it was legitimate or if they're just thinking of ways for me to spend my money.(they wanted $70) The owner's manual makes no mention of changing the fluid. I've never done anything like this, so I wasn't sure.

Long story short: it's easy, can be done in your garage. I needed a 13 mm and 15 mm wrenches, a catch basin, and almost two quarts of 80-90 gear lube. ($12) The tricky part is refilling the diff, I ended up using a pump.

It's cheap any easy, just flush it when you do the rear. They make hand bumps that screw into 1qt oil bottles and make the job easier.
