Any reason why I wouldn't be able to convert my 03' X2 ignition to this? The medallion system makes me question anything electrical.

It looks like these still require the key to be on. Tr6cougs design eliminated the key altogether. I have the 2nd tr6coug unit built and it is still working great today and I love it.

I don't believe these were ever sold to the general public at large. After some discussion with the OP's lawyer he decided not to sell them for fear of lawsuits.
