Angry ZF-Hurth V-drive wont engage

Hello, I have a 99 vrs225 maristar and transmission was disengaging intermittently, I checked fluid and it was watery like strawberry milk. ( im guessing that was from an earlier bilge failure) i drained fluid and put fresh ATF. I started it in water and the transmission wont engage forward or reverse.

how long was trans slipping... you may need to change fluid a couple of times... it's possible that the pump has been worn...

It was only slipping for a lap around the lake before i pulled it out of the water. I will try and drain and refill again.

Drain and refill until it looks like it is supposed too. I did this 5to6 times to get it clean. Mine still slipped, ordered new filter and it stopped slipping. My filter looked clean(cleaned with carb cleaner each transmission change). New filter fixed all issues.
