Belt cross reference for lsa supercharged

Hi,

I recently bought a 2011 x star with the indmar 6.2 supercharged lsa engine. The belts are stretched, and the tensioner is rubbing against one of the other pulleys. Iím just wondering if anyone has had any luck cross referencing a car belt. Te indmar part numbers are 725041 and 725043 a google search hasnít lead me to much.

Sure, you can use a car belt...no problem. Look and see if your tensioner has a belt wear mark indicator on the the main tensioner castiing ( non rotating part)...might be three raised marks. On the pivoting part of the tensioner near the enclosed spring, should be a raised mark on the casting, maybe triangular raised arrow tip. When the tensioner arm pivots the arrow tip should be within the casting raised marks on the main body tensioner. The raised three marks, minimum, ideal, replace. The min and ideal raised marks are close to each other. You want to have the raised triangular arrow tip on the pivoting tensioner arm pointing to the second mark on the tensioner body when the new belt is installed and correctly seated. With this all being said and done you can go to Autozone, you can buy three or Four belts, close to your belt size, look to see the second mark lines with the pivoting arm triangle raised arrow tip and your done. questions just ask. Question might be number of groove in your serpentine belt, match them up to the old belt, Napa has way to measure you old belt length. This is just an example what to look for and check for correct belt tension and set up, yours may be different, its a start on what to look for though.
