I read somewhere maybe here. Use 50%ATF/50%Acetone. It supposedly works better than Kroil.

For the record, we drove the bolt up about an inch, gave up, cut he head off and pounded it down... wayyyy easier

Have searched the site but unable to find additional details about the size of this bolt. I see that it is a 5/8 Grade 8 but need overall length as well as length of threaded portion, etc. Trying to purchase one before going to war with mine taking it out. Thank you.

I worked on the same problem today. I got one pin out, the second one was the problem. I hit it with everything in my tool box that a sledge could hit without breaking my hand. Then I saw the pin that came out easy on the floor and use it. Five good hits with a sledge and that bad boy came right out. Thats after it moving only an inch. Used lots of WD 40.
