resurrecting this thread....

I was talking to a dealer today, and he said that Charlotte MasterCraft Center is planning to open a second location in Raleigh, they are apparently trying to get their building plan firmed up. He said he was told this at their November meeting, would be nice, if it comes together!

I’m surprised they would have so many dealers so close together. If they open another one in Raleigh They will have 5 Mastercraft Dealers all within an hour or so away from each other. This may be the norm but seems like overkill to me. I live in Greensboro and have my XT22 order in with Bobby. This will be my 3rd boat purchase from them and they have always been great to work with.

On top of those, you still have Charlotte Ski Boats and Charlotte Mastercraft Center. I wouldn’t say an hour from Raleigh, but 5 dealerships (Charlotte Ski Boats being the premier I would think) all within a couple hours drive ...

Correct. The 2 centers in Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh and Lillington were the locations I was speaking of. An hour may be pushing if for 1 or 2 of them but being in Asheboro (centrally located) I can get to all of them pretty easily. Not complaining at all just thought it was interesting. I just hear so much from people on this board having to drive 4+ hrs to get to the nearest dealer. I guess we’re lucky to be where we are. There are quite a few big lakes around as well so I guess that’s what warrants having them all.
