RTP-1 in X-9

I think it has 310 HP. Is that enough in an X-9?

Should be. It's only 20hp less than the LTR. I had the LTR in my 209, which pushed a full boat to 44 or so.

If you are a barefooter just pass on it. Anything else, it will get the job done.

Hopefully someone with one will chime in. The correct prop may help.

I had an 03 x2 (205v) for 10 years with factory prop and it was always enough. If you're going to really weight it down or boat at high elevation you might need to reprop. I would think a v-drive would need more power for similar performance.
If you ask a hp question on here, there will be plenty that'll tell you no matter what it is it's not enough. Lol.
Lake test will tell you what you need to know.

I have a 2003 with the Predator 310 HP and I surf and wake board the crap out of it.
It will do about 42 MPH and I believe it is with a stock Prop. at 3500' in elevation.
It is a good boat. If the price is right I would go for it.

I wouldn't hesitate unless you are a footer.

I have the MCX and I wouldn't imagine a few HP less would ruin the boat.

Agree with the above statement. I had the X9 with Predator 310 and it was plenty. We definitely repropped to an ACME 209 (oddly enough), and this made tons of difference. Barefooters had to.hold on for longer, but we pulled a few. Slalom and sure were more than adequate, and we never felt that it lacked power.
