Depth Finder Question

I read thru the many depth finder threads but could not get an answer to my question...how does the a depth guage that has a water temp sensor read the actual water temp? In order to read the water temp, a transom mounted puck / sensor would be needed correct?

We have a hummingbird on the BF200 and the puck just sits in the bilge near the rear of the boat. We do not have an air sensor or water temp sensor on the Hummingbird...just the depth sensor.

So on the 190, I would like to get a Lowrance that has all three options...air, water and depth sensors. Can anyone shoot me a link to one on Amazon for example that would contain all three options? Is there such a model with a thru-hull puck? My guess is no...

Thanks Doug for the PM about the Faria model you have!
