I picked Roxy up from ATL Humane Society about 2 months ago. I can't wait to get her out on the water.

Mine-Cooper (Yellow Lab 2 yrs)
Hers-Winston (Westie 1 yr old)

We had to impliment a no dogs on the MasterCraft rule!! The Lab sheds to much.. And the Westie is a terrier (French for Terror).. Barks at everything!!

^Oh man, my yellow lab (almost white) was named Cooper, he passed last summer after 9 great years.

Recently my wife and youngest (age 6) were in the car, she looked back and he was all teared up. She asked him what was wrong and he responed "I miss Cooper". Broke her heart!

So we finally got back up to my parent's place again. Our dude is a year and a half now, learned to swim last summer but would not jump off the dock. He got over it this time pretty quick. Decent speed, good form at the end, but.....

...distance was a bit short. He would actually jump off the dock to go for a swim with our daughter. Only dog we've ever had do that, all others would run to shore and swim out to meet you. But most of them would land halfway out to the ball if they were jumping after it. He'll get there, he certainly has a unique personality, adding another to some great goldens over the years.
