Definitely not a quiet boat, those tips don't do much to muffle the sound. Originally bought the boat with no muffler, just had straight pipes. That was ridiculously loud, so I bought the silent master to put on the boat. Sounds like most inboards with a 350 MCX, nice deep, throaty rumble. As far as I can tell those tips just have flaps on them to keep the water out, no baffling or muffling happening from them.
