I know its been clarified, but it would be quite easy to get that many hours, if the boat was club owned then 8hrs a day, 4 days a week for a 15 week season is 480hrs a year so quite plausible - mine was an ex disabled ski club boat, we got it with just shy of 2k hours on it when it was only 5 years old
