This is more like a pickle fork vs conventional bow comparison. Both these boats spec "almost" the same.

Not to punt on this, but it's been covered. If you're coming from a Cobalt with tower, about all it can do reasonably well watersports wise is wakeboard, and at that the adjustability is limited. Whether surf or rec slalom, you'll be thrilled with either MC option. Agreed with JTS and CottagerGreg, it comes down to the bow and aesthetics largely.

FWIW one of our prior watercraft was a Cobalt 200 with tower. She was a great cruiser, handled chop without flinching, and cruised at 50 mph even at 8,200' elevation. Slalom was a survival outing and there was no surfing. IME, MC fit and finish equals or exceeds Cobalt, which is saying a lot.
