My homemade portable boat wash system

Hey, just thought that I would share the portable boat wash system that I came up with. I am keeping my boat in a storage garage just a couple of miles from the lake. My house is another 5 miles away, so I didn't want to tow the boat home to wash it and then back to the storage garage. I got most everything from Northern Tools. The tank is meant for an ATV sprayer and holds 26 gallons of water. The Northstar pump is a 4 GPM unit that bolts right to the tank. The pump has a pressure switch, so it only runs while you are spraying the hose. It is 12 volts, so I just run a cable with battery clips to my truck battery. I added an off/on switch with an inline fuse just to be safe. The fuse is inside the white electrical box. I tried it out this past weekend and it worked great. The water hose is 50 feet and I can point the nozzle straight and it will shoot out 20 feet. Plenty of pressure to wash the boat.
