Wow.....hope June looks better. End of July trip has been chopped. May even be questionable for the boys May trip.
Our local lakes are suffering also. We are at about 40% of the average rain and snow fall rigt now. Drier and warmer weather scheduled for another week.

Summer dune buggies anyone???

Yeah, I'm not sure we'll even have enough in May.

Gov. Brown Declares CA Drought Emergency
The announcement comes as Southern California is on pace for the driest January on record
http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/lo...240821841.html

Back in Nov was the last day to decide if I was going to commit to our week at Tsasdi resort. As it stands right now, I made the correct decision to cancel and get full refund. The way the lake was, I had figured even if it got average rain fall it still was not going to be that great. Now I'm beginning to wonder if even the NorCal Delta will be impacted severely...

I showed the pictures to my wife. She kept saying "I wonder what Lake Shasta looks like". Now she knows.

I wonder if I can put roller skates on the bottom of my boat for the summer.

They move the marinas out into deeper water. The deepest spot is 500+ feet deep.

There is still plenty of boating water, just issues with ramps, RV parks and camp grounds being a long way from the water and marinas.

We stay at Antlers RV park and there is a marina there. When the water gets about 80 feet down, they move the marina down stream about 2 miles which is not ideal for us at the RV park. Long way to walk to the boat and not practical to unhook and drive the RV there every day.
